•  A number of 9 students from IT Management and Governance group have obtained until present their degrees of PhD/Licentiate of Philosophy from Stockholm University (Edephonce Nfuka, Mohamed El-Mekawy, Georg Hodosi, Jens Ohlsson, Parisa Aasi, and Gideon Mekonnen Jonathan) and Licentiate of Engineering from KTH – Royal Institute of Technology Stockholm (Norman Vargas Chevez, Will Johnny Flores Delgadillo and Anayanci Lopez Poveda).

•  The research papers written by members of IT Management and Governance group have been nominated for the best papers in top conferences in information systems area like 17th Americas Conference on Information Systems (AMCIS 2011), 48th Annual Hawaii International Conference on Systems Sciences (HICSS 2015), Pacific Asia Conference on Information Systems (PACIS) 2022, and International Conference on Information Systems Development (ISD 2023). At 17th European, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern Conference on Information Systems (EMCIS 2020) we have received the best theoretical paper award. Moreover, we have received the best paper award at ICECH2022-The 10th International Conference on Emerging Challenges: Strategic Adaptation in the World of Uncertainties.

• The members of IT Management and Governance group have published their research results in well-known journals such as Computers in Human Behavior, Industrial Management & Data Systems, International Journal of Information Management, Information Systems Management, Journal of Global Information Technology Management, Journal of Information Technology Theory and Applications, International Journal of Information Technology and Management, Information Resources Management Journal, International Journal of IT/Business Alignment and Governance, The Electronic Journal of Information Systems in Developing Countries to mention only a few of them. Moreover members of IT Management and Governance group has been published their research results in the proceedings of top conferences in information systems area like for example International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS), European Conference on Information Systems (ECIS), Americas Conference on Information Systems (AMCIS), Hawaii International Conference on Systems Sciences (HICSS), Pacific Asia Conference on Information Systems (PACIS), International Conference on Information Systems Development (ISD), Australasian Conference on Information Systems (ACIS) and International Conference on Advanced Information Systems Engineering (CaiSE).
